BUsiness fair

Business fair was held in Nagoya on Oct. 13th. In this conference, some PE members participated as a presenter. I was not a conference PE member, only a participant.

Some visitors came this booth to consult their engineering issues.

Autumn travel

Yesterday, I travelled forest hill “Heaven’s Sonohara”.

This event was hosted by Mihama Society of Commerce and Industry. The lunch’ s menus were raw meats of horse, baked carps, wild vegetables and beer. After that, we visited a cool forest hill by ropeway gondola.

It’s a nice autumn trip season.

State funeral

Now, Japanese governments are preparing the state funeral for for former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Sep. 27th. However, there is large controversial discussion in Japan. The number of people who oppose to his state funeral is increasing day by day. They said “Condemning of the condolence cannot be accept.” or “The cost of state funeral must be huge” and so on. However, I think the state funeral is reasonable considering his big governmental accomplishments.

University’s library

Researching in Nihon Fukushi University’s library. It locates from my office only 10minutes by my car. Good library.

Water temp was 30.2℃.

Here is a wastewater treatment plant of a factory I visit constantly. Air temp was 35℃, however we are not surprised such temp nowadays.

But the water temp was 30.2℃. Also this year, the water temp becomes above 30℃. According to a past record of this plant, the water temp was 35℃ on Aug. 13th 2016. I remember that I thought my thermometer has been crashed then.

So, we must be careful the heatstroke.

Annual congress of Aichi branch

On Jun. 11th, annual congress of Aichi branch, the Institution of Professional Engineers Japan was held. It was held in Nagoya Congress Center, and was also available on the web.

I made a greeting and explained an annual report of the branch’s performance as a boss of branch.

After that, an interesting lecture was held. The title was “Gennnai Hiraga, an engineer who discovered an electricity”.

I ordered a movie production company to make it.

Nowadays, there are a lot of people who get various information with an internet connection at their home due to Covid – 19 pandemic. Unlike homepage or SNS, youtube movies are animated so more people have watched them.

Moreover, business of engineering consultant is hardly recognized most people, and I’m always annoyed by such problem. That’s why I decided to produce youtube that makes more people understand the business.

In the second half of the movie, my son and I talk together.

Comeback victory

I visited Nagoya baseball stadium. It was not Banterin Dome. Farm is also interesting. Bravo! Great comeback victory! I became happy and got energy. The first string, keep it up!

My town's dental clinic

I sometimes come here to cure my teeth. It’s a small dental clinic that is operated by a female doctor.

Last month, gradually, I had a pain of toothache. So, I went here and began to cure my teeth. “There is a cavity of bad tooth. If you will not take care of your teeth carefully, most of your teeth will be lost and you’ll have to use false teeth in the future” she said.

So, I have to come here for a while.

Accumulated snow

Moreover, at yesterday’s my workplace, there was too much snow than around the station. Water quality inspection at river and lake was tough work, yesterday.

My measuring instruments

This is a measuring instrument that can measure pH and DO (oxygen concentration in water) at the same time in the field. Its condition became wrong at the end of last year.

I’ completely forgot to fix it then, and I noticed that it must be fixed before today’s fieldwork. So, I exchange its electrode and corrected the indication. And the performance was checked.

Moreover, I noticed that the condition of electronic balance was not good. It must be used for calculation the concentration of activated sludge. Ordering new one right now, it turned out that it will arrive here this week. So, I was reassured.
